Etruscan Art Reproductions made in Italy. This sections includes Etruscan vases, panels and other typical artwork reproductions. These high class pieces, made in Cerveteri which was the Capital of the Etruscan empire in the time of the Romans, are actually more than simple reproductions. They are created by Italian artisans of such talent, they are aged to resemble the antique originals with such skill, and the work is so fine that unscrupulous sellers have in the past sold some of these objects as historic originals to American museums.

In fact, we would like to warn our customers that there are unsavory characters in the world that try to sell "Etruscan" artifacts, passing them off as originals. The selling of original Etruscan art is strictly forbidden by the Italian government and even if available would cost in the millions of dollars for even one panel or vase.

The high quality of these reproductions is due to the fact that these artisans use the same techniques of the Etruscans, such as "bucchero", "red outline" and also "black outline". These pieces are of course expensive, because the artisans are also restorers of original Etruscan artifacts and therefore have first hand knowledge of the techniques used to make the originals.

In order to craft for you a piece of Italian history, we will need 30 to 45 days for the piece to be created exclusively for you by our artisans in Italy. Also for this reason we require  a deposit of 40% of the final price with the remainder paid prior to shipment. All prices quoted include shipping, handling and insurance.
